What We Do.
At Suarez Sport & Orthopedic Physical Therapy (Suarez Physical Therapy), we work with active, motivated clients in the Capital Region (Albany, NY and the surrounding areas) who are experiencing an issue with their movement - be it an acute injury, recovery post surgery, a significant or nagging pain, weakness, lack of mobility or other limitation - to keep them active and achieving their desired goals.
We also work with athletes to return to sport stronger and more resilient following an injury, and to increase strength, stability and mobility to help prevent injury and achieve optimal performance.
Our clients are motivated movers — high school, collegiate and professional athletes, CrossFit and other fitness athletes and active adults.

STEP 1: Determine Root Cause of Your Issue
Clients are people, not just their symptoms. Whatever your issue may be, we work with YOU 1-on-1 to understand your background, concerns and goals and identify the root cause(s) of your unique issue.

STEP 2: Provide Effective Treatment
Effective treatment may come in various forms, including manual (hands-on) treatment, in-clinic guided assessments and exercises and a home exercise program tailored to your needs.

STEP 3: Return to Your Active Lifestyle
Movement is medicine. We will get you back to your active lifestyle stronger and more resilient than before, and give you the knowledge, tools and confidence to stay there!
HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
Our licensed physical therapists conduct 1-on-1 sessions with each client throughout their rehabilitation process - be it after surgery or to address an injury or other movement limitation that you are experiencing - and we will keep you moving as much as possible while doing so.
We work with professional, collegiate, high school and adult fitness / CrossFit athletes to stay in the game and optimize their performance. We offer both Return to Sport Rehabilitation and Athlete Assessments & Strength and Performance Training.
Your injury may be healed, but you might want continued assistance maintaining or improving upon your level of activity, or you may have a recurring issue that does not require manual therapy. We’re here for you with other options to maintain and improve upon your active lifestyle!
